Documentation

This uses JavaScript to convert a string into hangul. This page includes support for the strange IPA characters that a hangul string might have been converted into. http://www.eki.ee/wgrs/rom2_ko.pdf (a similar table was previously found at http://www.glossika.com/en/dict/Korpin.pdf, but that has been taken down) is used as the basis for conversion mappings. When more than one jamo share a possible romanization, the jamo that uses it in more romanization systems is preferred. Additional romanizations were taken from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hangul_consonant_and_vowel_tables. See the table below to determine what sequences you can use to generate specific jamo, or just use the buttons. Use hyphens or periods to force breaks between syllabic blocks. Precede them with backslashes if you need literal hyphens or periods.

Complex and obsolete jamo not supported yet.
